Elodie is played by Billy Bobby Brown, who is in the new movie Damsel released by Netflix. In the movie, She indeed believes herself to be a young princess who wants to marry a foreign prince in order to save her kingdom, which is starving. After being told to sit in silence for half an hour, she realizes that whatever is happening is fake, and she is going to be sacrificed to the dragon to break an old spell. In the course of their survival instinct, she could spend an entire hour inside a dark cave half-naked while screaming her throat hoarse. The writing was utterly atrocious to put it in proper words. The dialogue even regarding to the scene they were filming sounded quite cringeworthy. Furthermore, a character in the movie had cited, ‘Racially mixed kingdoms,’ which itself is in contrast to all other movies. Unfortunately, little time was provided for character growth. However, this one had everything that is terrible and every cliche evolution-era fantasy movie has to offer. But on a happier note, the astonishing pieces of this particular genre movie and the editing/directing nonetheless were on display and even the speed was perfect. More astonishing is that they anticipate that a country with a diameter of 15 kilometers and all the biomes will be sufficient for a breathtaking tale.

The film we just watched stood out not only because of its impressive CGI special effects but also because there was no doubt that the end product would be great. It was cool to witness some creativity in the design of the dragon as well as the surroundings. Because really, there’s hardly anything more annoying in a movie than devoting all of your attention to it only for some horrible representation of a dragon bursting in and going on a rampage against the lead characters.

In the movie Damsel, Shohreh Aghdashloo, regarded as one of the best women in the industry, voiced the dragon ‘voice’. However, it is commendable that it was both fun and awe-inspiring.

There are few actors I enjoy, and I would certainly write a specific manner in which their character would be portrayed which would not be easy to alter. For instance, Brown who played a role in Enola, and has also worked in the TV series, Stranger Things is British and some might see her as one of them. Yes, maybe one of the flaws was that all of them Elodie, and rightly so, Elodie, Eleven, and Enola had more or less the same appearance, Yes, but that did not limit her to just being a character it made her feel like a superhuman princess who performed action sequences in which she jumps from high elevations.

Once again. A usual magic classic fairy tale acted on screen, so, however, move back a bit. It’s a blessing that the writers did not fuck up too much because the movie did however, manage to give the audience a strong female character who doesn’t depend on a male.

You are correctly concerned about the fact that they seem to be obliterating the ‘stepparent’ animosity, which is something that how things should be done as a norm.

I was not so pleased with Kazao Moura’s role because I have never appreciated how they tend to use his character to turn women into stereotypes who are practically mindless villains. It is all right to put Angela Bassett in the role of Elodie’s mother but once again she is largely absent in the picture. But fans of fantasy movies can enjoy “Damsel” as there is an inclusion of a lot of the movies that you would have watched before.

It is like a combination of “The Damsels” with “Let’s Dance” ”, and “The Wizarding World of Harry Potter” along with a few notes of “all talk, am the Jedi” of Star Wars.

The details provided might as well have relied on the TV-watching pattern of children throwing tantrums. If the occasion does not call for it, then there is no requirement to flaunt any woman’s cleavage to such an extreme. Not too much in Elodie being feminine and being objectified with no reason or sense. Great aspects that they could have included with minimum effort. Might it be to offend the sight of the old audience? Just a picture of Elodie can be an explanation of such a thought process; no one will give such a focus on her in the films.

With that in hand, eyeballing the rest of the film, I did not depart well on the edge of my seat!

And finally, “Damsel”: A film that meets the requirements of the Bechdel test and one of the that was patched to the message objective

I must say this movie was very outstanding, the cinematics were very rewatchable and it actually has a sort of happy ending. And the best part about it was that it was on the internet which made it easier for me to view.
