This single and music video is inspired by The Silence of The Lambs and as expected, it’s as brutal and horrifying as other works by Ice Nine Kills. Meat & Greet will be the last single to feature in their horror movie-themed horror film The Silver Scream 2 Welcome to Horror Wood. It was cool for Charnas and Ryan J Downey to present the concert in Hollywood at the Montalba Theatre last week.
The show was divided into parts and toward the end Charnas suggested everyone embrace themselves for an engaging ride concluding the horror saga, alongside it he officially released the single and music video for Meat & Greet, and these were the parts that fans were the most excited to see, after all, it is supposed to conclude a very interesting saga.
As they complete the multi-year concept, Charnas remarked “We’re almost ready to release the last music video. It was a two-year work that resulted in eight music videos. We have now revived WOW! Welcome To Horror Wood Part 2, the final one Meat & Greet. Let’s begin with a closure of The Silver Scream at the most gory period of the horror era of music, at least for now.”
The CD Welcome to Horror Wood is set to release on 20th October via Fearless Records while the song Meat & Greet one of the songs from the CD is gonna be included in it. The CD contains the very famous horror wood song as well as the yet-to-be-titled song it is an ambitious and the most complete album of the band so far. To put it simply, Welcome To Horror Wood Under Fire is a three-vinyl record set of The Silver Scream 2: Welcome To Horror Wood 3 disc. A Silence mask with distinctive imagery will now come with “Meat & Greet” in the first copy, along with two additional ones, and will be sold in an exclusive box set. Offers for pre-orders are now accessible.
The members of Ice Nine Kills have made a cultural meshing that mainly revolves around their multi-genre influence while still keeping the Enactor song as a base. The blend of their old and new ideas was ultimately required which is why the band has implanted parts of their musical history into revolves around the horror genre. With the single A Grave Mistake, they were still able to get on the top charts further popularizing the record. Furthermore, records such as Every Trick in The Book and Silver Scream 2 dive deep into the blending of songs and albums from literature and cinema.
The band released their novel-themed album and it allowed them to rise 5 positions on the Hard Rock charts, while also improving their music style on The Silver Scream 2, its release coming after a few years in 2021, where the band was still responsible for the cover design of their 2015 album. The places in the top 20 ceased to be something unexpected: the Silver Scream 2: Welcome To Horror wood added to the band the 1st position in the charts as number 18. The same album subsequently gained other positions in the album sales charts. It’s worth noting, too, that the band has a massive social network presence with around 177 million followers along with 15 million views on YouTube. The expectation of further work only makes us think that Ice Nine Kills not only pays respect to their genre but takes it further.
Ice Nine Kills have been making rapid strides ever since the chant ‘The Silver Scream 2: Welcome To Horrorwood’ came out. Where do I even start? They participated in quite a few legs of The Trinity of Terror in the States last year, warmed up Metallica in packed stadiums all around the globe during the M72 World Tour, toured the States with Slipknot, kicked off their incredibly popular horror-themed convention The Silver Scream Con that witnessed its second sold out edition last month.
Spencer appeared in a music video for Demi Lovato’s Still Alive which he recorded with Ice Nine Kills who are doing promo for Scream 6. Additionally, earlier this year and throughout the time Ice Nine Kills were performing as headliners, their fans joined on social media clamoring and goaded their idols for Metallica concerts in various countries. Moving towards Europe, Ice Nine Kills did a Wurst Vacation tour in that territory covering multiple locations and performed at the Download Festival receiving praises from everyone present.
Later, they were an opening act for Falling In Reverse during their Popular Montour, and in August, the band found itself supporting Fear The Premiere on a couple of their own U.S. shows.
This year the band Ice Nine Kills is sure not to leave the audience unscathed during their Welcome To Horror Wood Under Fire tour, and their co-headlining tour with In This Moment, Kiss of Death.
Moreover, they are somewhat like a blend of Slipknot and Zombie Rob. Ice Nine Kills is an innovative and visionary group, seeing themselves as not only a band but a multimedia and performance art where the music is accompanied by breathtaking shows, expensive music videos, and fan engagement during their performances. Subsequently, they won a Clio in Music Marketing for its mobile game ‘Merry Axe-mas’ and were nominated for 5 awards at last year’s Horror Hound Film Festival Awards for their stream event “The Silver Stream.” Their popularity continues to grow, now the band has over two million monthly listeners on Spotify and a total of 717 million streams.
