Lindsay Lohan has returned to the limelight and Canadian fans are enjoying her portrayal in the Netflix film ‘Falling For Christmas’. She hasn’t acted in a while period but it appears Lohan is showering her hard work with this new film. She truly is compelling and the entire movie seems to revolve around her, now in the upcoming film ‘Irish Wish’ which she has written alongside Janeen Damian, she seems to be more interested in a romance film with hints of screwball and scattershot comedy.

Lohan portrays Maddie Kelly in the film, an Editor who’s deeply in love with her husband, a romantic author, Paul Kennedy played by Alexander Vlahos. Looks aside, however, Alexander Vlahos is seemingly unexciting at all. Kenneth and a few of her friends and her mother Rosemary, who this time is played by Jane Seymour, a high school princess living in Iowa are not told about it, so they keep it only for themselves. All this is followed by a book about Paul that Maddy, her best friend is about to be published. Emma, played by Elizabeth Tan, happens to be the best friend of Maddie and through pure luck, she runs into Paul. With him, she is dissatisfied and finds out that he is quite rude and violent. Maddie meets Paul Kennedy’s Irish-who has a true Irish lovely look. Paul has such a peaceful lifestyle. Shortly before, Kennedy actually led a very dull life.

Maddie is cynical however every single person in the wedding team had been busy preparing the wedding, which took place three months after the film was shot with no location, program, clothes or, any time to organize.

Maddie would love seeing herself in such awkward situations, all because of her unrestrained imagination, When British photographer James’s (Ed Speleers) misplaced suitcase was who she thought it was, she mistook it to belong to her.

Once everything gets sorted, the two of them take a bus that leaves for the airport so they can record a couple more of the exchanges. Quite frankly, they have both grown intolerant of each other. Both of them have moved into the estate and Maddie stumbles across a wishing stone chair during her evening stroll, where a rather mischievous Saint Brigid, played by Dawn Bradfield, is dressing up on a parade of Maddie’s dress for her wishes to be fulfilled. With a windstorm blowing fairytale pink flowers around her, she is pulled into the storm as she utters the words, “I Wish I was marrying Paul Kennedy,” only to be thrown into her destiny.

Pettie Kennedy while being a bride has humiliated Kennedy`s negative sides by calling him a coward. However, there is such a possibility that she and Paul will never be destined to elope and become wives. Their exchange is lasting longer so monotonous sentences of Paddys continue to annoy O’Brien apparently. But without a constant sense of inadequacy that haunts her, the bride who falls in love with the handsome and intelligent James, her wedding photographer, has to spend a few hours with him while they talk about their wedding plans.

When the priest states that Saint Brigid is distinctly different from St Mick and Saint Keith, who would give you what you require as opposed to whatever it is that you want. Maddie remembers her wish and how it has placed every individual’s life into a nightmare and she finally comes to terms with the fact that she loves James. In this scenario, the lesson is totally wrong in terms of the description given about Saint Brigid’s adaptation; religion has to do with finding a balance between work and family life, which I guess not everyone envisions as ideal, but it does work for some extent.

Some viewers have the complaint that the story fails to grip the interest of the audience and the progression of the plot is slow. In that case, I’d say Lohan makes it worth the watch, she’s a terrific performer and the film doesn’t fall short in showcasing her acting prowess. Some bits of material are subpar or far below average, and yes, We’re looking at you ‘Just My Luck’ now! Damian uses dim warm tones in a visually pleasing manner, I enjoyed the fact that it didn’t overwhelm the middle section of the image, making her image quite effective. So this helps throw dart as far as they like in a tavern in the corner of Britain, them from idle talking to stenting them into a little bit hot together. As for Connie, she delivers an excellent physical performance while at the same time managing to make even the most improbable situations hilarious. Anyway her fall down as well as other forms of physical comedies look funny and believable And the smoothness of the cuts at times between the star and the performer’s stand are more ‘jumpy’ than we would like.

And in what way the beauty of the Irish countryside cannot be overlooked.

The beautiful Cliffs of Moher and gorgeous Lough Tay are just a few of nature’s wonders that leave an impression on those who gaze at them. To say it poetically, it takes a person into a beautiful fantasy wherein there is a belief in love and green mountains with mythical creatures. Moreover, when combined with Nathan Lanier’s composition intertwined with Irishness, and the celtic hints, it can be yucky but delicious.

Supporting characters of the movie suffer the most according to me. On a positive note, Vlahos does an excellent job voicing Paul’s stupidity, I could hear the ‘Liberty Biberty’ car insurance commercials in a positive sense. Sadly, she is frequently relegated to the lowest possible rating in the mother aspect, which is far more disheartening. Once again, that is because her comic timing is too broad and badly misplaced, she has not one relevant moment with Lohan except for a Facetime chat. When she plays Paul’s mother, Olivia Paul, someone who seems to be a tad spoilt, Jacinta Mulcahy does a little better.

It was quite cringeworthy to see Tan’s Emma portray Paul’s love interest alongside him as a wife in different worlds where he was married to someone else, but the grounded portrayal of Tan’s Emma as Paul’s wife and together not give meaning for the scope of threat the plot synopsis provides.

Maddie Harris has a friend in room 104 who is referred to as Heather, one of the figures in Room 104, who is also played by Ayesha Curry, who many people, though, prefers being labeled as a television personality rather than an actress, in whose scripts up to this point, she has been unable to integrate the two.

For as much as romance novels, as one annoying writer Maddie seems to consist of, I would imagine ‘Irish Wish’ to be as such – one only serves as a meditating function because reading it does not require any brainwork – or for that matter, any consideration, for that matter. I would love to see Lohan star in something that she so should be given a rom-com along the lines of ‘Anyone But You: But if Lohan is happy with Damian and low-quality Netflix rubbish then she waited for it for years because of RAM media.
