Abigail 2024

 Abigail 2024

This movie features an incoherent plot that revolves around derelict street antagonists trying to fulfill a Munich heist. Bergma’s Son of Dracula is loosely repurposed into a self-indulgent horror movie. The incoherent hodgepodge of genres fails to reassemble into any category as Abiigil attempts to make a name for herself within an oversaturated market filled with new ideas. During an era when the universe movie was the next big hit, Abigail made valiant attempts at recreating the past that the film industry audience had outgrown.

In the movie, Weir works to absorb Tchaikovsky, albeit he is depicted as embittered and angry. The impression one gets of Tchaikovsky in his coffin makes one believe he would turn into fury. It would be more interesting if Alisha Weir did her part as a bumptious more interesting character. She comically tends to be sadistic in her humor but the comical dress looks like horrid looney tunes rather than Count Dracula and his descendants.

But between the supporting cast there seems to be a little moderate improvement a tinge of stiff and wooden but not cringing grade performances. The comedy element in the episode is amiss, where one of the lead characters hurls what comes across as the most pleasant swear word in the context of the film A big flake which makes its why is onion set out on the screen twice. Melissa Barrera has got the portrayal of the bad character with charm ever so wrong which in my opinion is the exact opposite of Vyuga Dan Stevens in this film without a single shred of doubt.

Angus Cloud should have received a great send-off for his role but instead turns out just to be a dull twist of his character from euphoria. To my surprise, Giancarlo Esposito was not able to make any plot progression and instead turned out to be a grim example of how much potential this film had.

At least Graphs’ style cinematography left a positive impact. I must say that they were able to properly complement the film’s gothic atmosphere by Using interesting and unique styles and angles, Graph made it feel unlike other films. Unfortunately, the flaw of the film was democracy, it simply had way too many jump scares.

Abigail, the movie, is an utter failure as far as entertainment is concerned. Having said that, it might be possible that Abigail has some entertainment value, but I believe the franchise execution will consider these valuable glimpses as frivolous. However, out of everyone, Abigail is the most heart wrenching. So why focus on making money rather than focus on the art? This is what I am going to show you when the credit rolls. This is the universal truth of a film exhibition, nothing is learned from a box office in this rough and tough world of dollar flipping.

Thus we pay our respects to the audience as the credits roll, I am tempted to feel a little sad about what could have been had the writers of the film had been a little more considerate about loosening the coffin a little bit. If you are not a masochist do not look for another bar that is in fact much higher than this one.
